Features
Map Generation
- Import a GPX file and generate a 3D map around your trail
- Three generation modes: Single Trail, Multi-Trail chain Premium, Terrain Premium
- Terrain generation from custom map bounds (center + radius, two corner points, or a blank tile)
- Multi Tile Generator — visually arrange multiple map tiles before generating
- Configurable shape: circle, square (with independent width/height), ellipse (with aspect ratio), hexagon, octagon, heart
- Shape extras: inner/outer/front text overlays, a medal handle, and a protective shell around the map
- Elevation scaling, path thickness, and single-color-mode for clean single-material prints
Map Elements
Automatically fetches and renders geographic data from OpenStreetMap:
- Water (ponds, small rivers, big rivers)
- Ocean Experimental
- Forests, Scree, Glaciers
- Farmland, Greenspaces
- City boundaries
- Buildings (3D) Experimental
- Roads (major, primary, and small streets)
Post-Processing
- Color by Height — stacks multiple elevation colors in material and texture modes; on a single-colored map or previously created height piece, Single Extruder Mode turns the next region into a recessed, one-millimeter-deep element that can be selected and split again
- Contour Lines — adds printable contour line geometry
- Magnet Holes — drills holes for magnets (configurable diameter/depth)
- Dovetail Cutouts — adds dovetail joints for tiling maps
- Bottom Mark — engraves a mark on the bottom face
- SVG / Text Import — imports SVG outlines or custom text as 3D objects
- Pin Placement — places a pin at GPS coordinates; pin on city name Premium
- Heightmap Import Premium — imports a 2D image as a heightmap
- Map Holder & Connectors — appends a decorative stand or connector piece to your map
- Jigsaw Puzzle Generator — draw an area and choose rows/columns to turn a map into an interlocking jigsaw puzzle

- Optional auto-export after generation
Requirements

Data Sources
WorldCover uses Planetary Computer’s public /item/crop/{width}x{height}.png
endpoint with a GeoJSON bounding polygon. The /item/feature/ and /item/bbox/
routes can appear in the API schema but return HTTP 501 on the public service.
Fetch errors are reported separately from missing coverage; failed downloads
are not cached or filled as water.
